The weather on the Front Range has been fantastic!
Went down on Saturday to pick up my new Taurine, helmet, and other stuff (sorry, no pics yet) and the trails were all muddy. Well, I guess it's not a mountain bike until you get it dirty... but still, it was so NEW. Anyway, today, rode the same loop as Saturday, and not a single patch of mud! I love Colorado DRYNESS. Anyway, both days it was hanging around 60 degrees... as opposed to the 35 in Summit. So happy.
My favorite road ride... Rooney Road to Lookout Mtn Road, up the Frontage Road--pictured above--back down all the way to Morrison, and then whatever I feel like from there. 35 miles + Too bad I no longer own a road bike...
On days like this one, even I-70 can be beautiful...
