Took a little side-trip to Lugano this past weekend... Merida Suisse Team spring meeting. Unfortunately, the famous valley of sunny days was not so sunny when we arrived on Saturday. The whole of the trip was spent in the Hotel Colorado (ironic), waiting for the rain to clear. Unfortunately, it never did, and so we spent 36 hours in Tessin and 0 hours on the bike. Joy.
Cannondale's yearly "Christmas in March" package arrived this past week as well. 4 beautiful new kits from Cannondale, Uvex helmet, Cannondale gloves, Smith and Cannondale hats, Gu and Gu2o, and what I think is left over Bear Naked Granola from the previous team sponsor. Schwag is good, but the kits are the most important of the package. Glad to be sporting the new green Cannondale Factory Racing uniform for the upcoming races.

To be honest, I never really liked Orange kits... Green is way better.
Will be posting an update after Schaan - first race in the Racer Bikes Cup Series - in Liechtenstein. Already about 50 guys signed up including several world-champions, Olympians, and legends.... and then me. Will let you know how it goes. My potential spot on the US U-23 National Team and ability to race World Cups depends on my results from Schaan; No pressure or anything.

Racing in a nice uni is like wearing a pink one piece... you have to prove your worthiness to wear it. Maybe I'll ride my old kit this race. : )
